Etihad to Double Abu Dhabi-Sydney Flights From 15 December

Etihad Airways will increase its Abu Dhabi-Sydney service to two flights a day from 15 December 2026. The airline announced the schedule on 28 September.

Four additional weekly flights will join the existing ten, creating 14 weekly services and more than 5,000 seats in each direction. Etihad plans to operate the route with Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. The additional frequency is intended to provide more connection choices through Abu Dhabi to the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the Indian subcontinent.

The schedule expansion confirms additional flight capacity but does not, on its own, confirm recruitment. Source: Etihad’s announcement.
