Etihad Airways and Etihad Rail Explore Integrated Air-Rail Travel

Etihad Airways and Etihad Rail have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore a more connected air-and-rail travel experience across the UAE. The agreement was signed during Arabian Travel Market.

The two organisations will study initiatives that could make journeys simpler for visitors and residents moving between flights and destinations served by the national railway. The work is expected to focus on connectivity, customer convenience and Abu Dhabi’s role as an entry point for travel around the country.

By linking two major transport networks, the partnership aims to support tourism, economic diversification and lower-impact mobility. The companies have not yet announced a launch date for specific integrated services.
