This senior finance role offers exceptional exposure to large-scale project accounting in the energy sector.
About the Role
As Principal Accountant you will oversee project accounting activities for major engineering and construction contracts, ensuring accurate cost tracking, revenue recognition, and financial reporting in line with US GAAP and IFRS. You will liaise with project managers, procurement teams, and external auditors, and will play a key role in month-end and year-end close processes.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with significant project or cost accounting exposure
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS revenue recognition standards
- Experience in oil & gas, engineering, or construction sectors is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
