Job Description

Amazon’s Trust and Safety organization sits inside the broader Network Health function that keeps Last Mile delivery operations running safely and compliantly across the AMET region. A Network Health Specialist in this team is the person who turns raw signals — incident reports, driver feedback, delivery station data — into actual investigations, and then into decisions that hold up under scrutiny. The work is equal parts casework and judgment call: every case has a paper trail, a set of facts, and a resolution that has to be defensible.

Day to day, the role means opening and working investigation case queues, interviewing the relevant parties, documenting findings in Amazon’s case management tooling, and closing cases within the standards the Trust and Safety team holds itself to. Because Last Mile operations touch delivery partners, drivers, and customers across multiple markets in the region, a lot of the job is about pattern recognition — is this a one-off incident, or a sign of something systemic at a particular delivery station.

It suits someone who has already done operational or investigative case work — in logistics, risk, compliance, or a similar high-volume operational environment — and who is comfortable writing clearly, making calls without perfect information, and staying consistent across dozens of cases rather than treating each one as a one-off. Amazon’s Last Mile network in Dubai is large and fast-moving, so the specialists who do well here are organized by instinct, not just by training.

Impact of the Job

Trust and Safety investigations are one of the few functions that directly protect the integrity of Amazon's Last Mile network across an entire region. Every case this specialist closes properly reduces the risk of a safety incident repeating itself, a bad actor staying in the network, or a delivery station drifting out of compliance without anyone noticing until it becomes a bigger problem. Because Last Mile touches thousands of deliveries a day across AMET, the quality bar on each investigation matters disproportionately — a sloppy case closed too quickly can mean a real risk goes unaddressed, while an overly cautious one can slow down an entire delivery station unnecessarily. This role is also one of the main feedback loops between what's actually happening on the ground at delivery stations and the policies Trust and Safety sets centrally; patterns this specialist flags often become the basis for process changes that apply across the whole network, not just the case in front of them.

Job Seeker Benefit

Working investigations inside Amazon's Trust and Safety function builds a skill set that transfers well beyond this one role: structured case analysis, interviewing technique, evidence-based decision-making, and the discipline of documenting conclusions so they hold up if someone questions them later. These are the same muscles used in compliance, risk management, internal audit, and operational leadership roles, which makes this a credible stepping stone into any of those paths. Because the role sits inside one of the largest and most operationally complex logistics networks in the region, it also gives genuine exposure to how a company at Amazon's scale manages risk across multiple countries and delivery partners simultaneously — something smaller companies simply can't offer. Specialists who perform consistently well in case work often move into process-design or policy roles within Trust and Safety, where the job shifts from resolving individual cases to designing the rules that prevent them in the first place. There's also a natural path toward people-management as case volumes and team size grow, for those who want to lead rather than purely investigate. Beyond the formal career ladder, the role teaches a kind of operational calm — making sound decisions quickly, under volume, without complete information — that is valuable in essentially any operations-heavy career afterward.
