Emirates NBD Uses Document Intelligence to Shorten Due Diligence

Emirates NBD has developed an AI-powered Document Intelligence platform that converts customer documents into structured, reusable data for onboarding, servicing and compliance workflows. The system is designed to reduce repeated document handling while keeping human review and governance controls in place.

A 12 October 2026 case report from The Asian Banker says the platform reduced average turnaround time for standard due diligence from 19 days to 4.7 days. Enhanced due diligence reportedly fell from 41.5 days to 11.4 days.
