DMCC Helps Advance UAE Women-Led Business Agenda at BRICS Meeting

DMCC said the UAE chapter of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance took part in the alliance’s summit and annual meeting in New Delhi in September 2026. The chapter was led by Feryal Ahmadi, DMCC’s deputy CEO and chief operating officer.

According to DMCC’s 10 September announcement, discussions focused on practical ways to increase women’s participation in finance, technology, healthcare, tourism, creative industries and food security. The UAE chapter is developing initiatives covering financial literacy, investment readiness, talent development, women’s health, intellectual property and startup support.

For UAE professionals and founders, the significance is the chapter’s focus on access to cross-border networks and business opportunities. The announcement describes work in development; it does not say these initiatives have already delivered jobs or funding.
