DMCC Reports 9.4% Growth in Its Chinese Business Community

DMCC says the number of Chinese companies operating in its Dubai business district increased by 9.4% over the past year. More than 1,000 Chinese businesses are now registered in the district.

More than 60% of those companies work in energy, engineering and machinery, or technology. DMCC highlighted the figures after completing a business roadshow in Shanghai, Wuxi and Xi’an focused on advanced manufacturing, technology, energy and other growth sectors.

During the programme, DMCC signed cooperation agreements with the Xi’an Chamber of Commerce and the Shanghai Pudong Service Center for Overseas Investment. The initiative is intended to attract further Chinese investment and deepen trade links through Dubai.
