Aldar’s London Square Plans 9,000 Homes Across 30 Sites

London Square, part of Aldar Properties, plans to deliver about 9,000 homes across 30 sites in London during the next five years. The expansion plan was reported on 14 October 2026.

The proposed mix includes more than 3,600 homes for open-market sale, 1,538 build-to-rent units and 3,575 affordable homes. London Square is targeting 600 completions in 2026, up from 398 last year, and expects its sales backlog to reach £1 billion by year-end.

Aldar acquired London Square in 2023, giving the Abu Dhabi developer a platform for expansion in the UK capital. The figures describe a development pipeline and do not confirm vacancies or guarantee individual project delivery dates. Source: The National.
