About the Role

Saipem is committed to supporting its clients on the energy transition pathway towards Net Zero. We are seeking a Purser to manage administrative and financial operations aboard offshore vessels.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all vessel administrative functions including payroll, invoicing, and crew documentation
- Maintain accurate records of crew changes, travel arrangements, and visa documentation
- Coordinate catering, stores procurement, and hotel services aboard the vessel
- Handle cash management, petty cash, and financial reporting
- Liaise with port agents, customs authorities, and government bodies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOLAS regulations, and flag state requirements
- Support crew welfare activities and manage onboard communication systems
Skills Required
- 3+ years of experience as a Purser on offshore or marine vessels
- Strong knowledge of marine administrative procedures and SOLAS regulations
- Experience in crew management and payroll processing
- Proficiency in vessel management software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work extended offshore rotations
- STCW Basic Safety Training certification
- Medical First Aid certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications or experience in Admin are advantageous.
