Mubadala Plans to Maintain $39 Billion Annual Investment Pace

Mubadala Investment Company plans to maintain an annual investment pace of about $39 billion while increasing its focus on Asia. Chief financial officer Carlos Obeid outlined the strategy at the Milken Institute Asia Summit in Singapore, with new reporting published on 12 October 2026.

The Abu Dhabi investment company has increased Asia’s share of its portfolio from 10% to 13% over three years. China, India, Japan and South Korea are priority markets, while technology, the energy transition, changing supply chains and consumer growth are among the themes guiding investment.

The figures describe Mubadala’s portfolio allocation and investment intentions rather than committed spending on a single transaction. The strategy update does not confirm vacancies. Source: Semafor.
