We are seeking a talented Web Developer / SEO Specialist to build, optimize, and maintain our websites across multiple brands in real estate, hospitality, and F&B. This role is responsible for both technical web development and organic search growth, ensuring our websites are fast, optimized, secure, and ranking on Google for high-intent keywords.
The ideal candidate is technical, analytical, and creative—comfortable with both code and SEO strategy.
Key Responsibilities1. Website Development & Maintenance
- Develop, update, and maintain websites using WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or custom code.
- Build new landing pages optimized for speed, mobile responsiveness, and conversions.
- Install integrations including tracking pixels, analytics, CRM forms, booking engines, and payment gateways.
- Manage website hosting, DNS, security, backups, and uptime monitoring.
- Troubleshoot bugs, fix UI/UX issues, and ensure smooth functionality across devices.
2. SEO Strategy & Execution
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research for all brands (real estate, hospitality, F&B).
- Optimize on-page elements: titles, meta tags, headers, schema markup, internal linking.
- Improve website speed (Core Web Vitals), image optimization, caching, and performance.
- Build SEO-optimized blog content using AI workflows + manual refinement.
- Implement local SEO for Zanzibar/Dubai locations (Google Business Profiles, map citations).
- Monitor rankings and organic traffic in Google Search Console & Analytics.
3. Technical SEO
- Ensure perfect indexing, crawling, and sitemap structure.
- Fix technical issues: 404 errors, redirect loops, duplicate content, broken links.
- Implement structured data (schema) for hotels, real estate, articles, products, etc.
- Optimize for mobile-first indexing and page experience.
4. Conversion Optimization (CRO)
- Improve landing page layouts to increase lead conversion (CPL, CVR).
- Run A/B tests on layouts, CTAs, forms, and copy.
- Reduce bounce rate and improve time-on-page.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the content, marketing, and design teams.
- Coordinate with performance marketers to align SEO and paid campaigns.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on SEO performance, website health, and improvements.
- Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years experience in web development + SEO.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, Webflow, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Expertise with Google Search Console, GA4, GTM, Ahrefs or SEMrush.
- Experience improving Core Web Vitals and site speed.
- Understanding of UX/UI best practices.
- Comfortable integrating third-party tools (CRM forms, booking systems, APIs).
- Strong English writing skills for SEO content optimization.
