About the Role
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is the UAE’s largest bank and one of the world’s largest financial institutions. FAB is looking for a Team Leader to manage the Fixed Assets and Project Accounts functions within the Finance division.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Fixed Assets and Project Accounts team
- Oversee the complete fixed asset lifecycle: capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals
- Manage project accounting including cost tracking, project close-out, and capitalization
- Ensure accuracy of fixed asset register in compliance with IFRS
- Prepare periodic fixed asset reports and reconciliations for management
- Coordinate with IT, Facilities, and project teams on asset management matters
- Support internal and external audit requirements related to fixed assets
- Identify process improvements and lead system enhancements
Skills Required
- 6+ years of accounting experience with focus on fixed assets or project accounting
- Professional qualification: ACCA, CPA, CA, or CIMA
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (specifically IAS 16, IFRS 16, IAS 36)
- Experience with Oracle Financials or similar ERP
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Banking or financial services sector experience
- Knowledge of UAE regulatory reporting requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications or experience in Accounts & Finance are advantageous.
