Job Description: As the leading delivery company in the region, talabat has a great responsibility to use data and AI to optimise operations, improve customer experience, and grow the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute data science projects from ideation to production
Develop machine learning models for recommender systems, demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and logistics
Perform all types of analysis including descriptive, exploratory, inferential, causal, and predictive analysis
Design and analyze experiments using sound statistical methodologies
Work with product data (impressions, events) and product health measurement (conversion, engagement, retention)
Build LLM and NLP-based solutions for data enrichment and smart automation
Work with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform
Develop data engineering pipelines via Airflow and similar tools
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in engineering, computer science, or similar (postgraduate a plus)
7+ years in data science, machine learning, and Gen AI
Experience in online consumer product data science
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (sklearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Strong knowledge of statistics and experiment design
