PwC Middle East, part of one of the world’s leading professional services networks with 328,000 professionals across 152 countries, is hiring a Senior AI Engineer at Manager level to join its Tax & Legal Services practice in Dubai. This is a high-ownership role for an experienced AI engineer ready to take solutions from concept to production independently.
About the Role
You’ll design and build intelligent automation solutions including document processing pipelines, compliance-checking systems, and RAG-based retrieval over multilingual regulatory data (Arabic included). You’ll be responsible for architecture decisions, technology selection, LLM integration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel), and end-to-end deployment on Azure. The role spans backend API development, vector database integration (FAISS, Pinecone, Azure AI Search), and production-grade deployment using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
Key Requirements
- Advanced Python skills (FastAPI or similar) with experience building scalable backend AI systems
- Proven production-grade LLM/RAG experience: chunking, embedding, hybrid retrieval, re-ranking, and evaluation
- Strong cloud deployment expertise on Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, monitoring)
- Experience with document-heavy data pipelines, OCR, metadata extraction, and multilingual processing
- Prior experience in regulated industries (Tax, Legal, Financial Services) is a strong advantage
