# LuLu Opens Its First Chennai Hypermarket at Shenoy Nagar Metro

LuLu Group has opened its first hypermarket in Chennai at Shenoy Nagar Metro station. The 12 October 2026 opening gives the retailer a direct presence inside the city’s metro network.

The Shenoy Nagar location brings together a LuLu Hypermarket, LuLu Fashion and LuLu Connect. The group has also opened a smaller LuLu Daily store at Chennai Central Metro station for everyday grocery purchases.

The openings expand LuLu’s retail footprint in Tamil Nadu and add shopping services for metro passengers and nearby residents. Public reports about the launch do not confirm vacancies. [Source: Live Chennai](https://www.livechennai.com/detailnews.asp?catid=22&newsid=83675).
