# GEMS Opens 2027-28 Genius Scholarship Applications

GEMS Education has opened applications for the third year of its Genius Scholarship programme, offering merit-based awards of up to 100% of tuition fees for two academic years. Applications opened on 15 October and close on 15 December 2026.

The programme is open to current GEMS students and pupils at other schools who will enter Grade 9 or Grade 11 in American or Indian curricula, or Year 10 or Year 12 in the British curriculum, during the 2027-28 academic year. Selection considers achievement and potential across academics, leadership, innovation, sport, the arts and other fields.

GEMS said the previous cycle received more than 2,400 applications and shortlisted more than 550 students. Shortlisted applicants will complete assessments and interviews and will be invited to an open day on 30 January 2027. Families should use the official application form and confirm detailed eligibility with GEMS.
