# flydubai Adds Two Training Partners for Cadet Pilot Programme

flydubai has partnered with Egnatia Aviation and Skyborne Airline Academy to provide flight instruction for the first groups in its Ab Initio Pilot Training Programme. The airline announced the agreements on 18 September 2026.

The two academies will train cadets working toward a Multi-Crew Pilot Licence, with the aim of preparing graduates to enter flydubai’s operations as first officers. The programme, launched in May 2025, combines ground school, simulator sessions and flight instruction. flydubai says the partnerships support a longer-term pilot pipeline as its fleet and route network grow.

The announcement describes training arrangements and does not establish that new applications are open. [Source: flydubai’s announcement](https://news.flydubai.com/flydubai-partners-with-egnatia-aviation-and-skyborne-to-advance-pilot-training-capabilities).
