# Emirates NBD and Shamal Holding Set Up Off-Plan Home Financing Partnership

Emirates NBD and Shamal Holding announced a partnership on 10 September 2026 to offer mortgage options for eligible buyers of Shamal’s off-plan residential projects in Dubai.

According to the bank, the financing becomes part of the buyer journey after the customer has secured the initial 50% of a property’s value. The arrangement is intended to give buyers a clearer view of financing and payment plans through to handover, rather than leaving mortgage decisions until a later stage.

The agreement illustrates how a bank and developer are linking home purchases with structured lending in Dubai’s property market. Buyers still need to check eligibility, rates and terms for a specific project with Emirates NBD before making decisions. The announcement concerns customer financing and does not imply new employment opportunities.
