# Emaar Board Approves AED 4.4 Billion Special Dividend

Emaar Properties’ board has approved a one-time special dividend of AED 4.4 billion, equal to AED 0.50 per share. The proposed payment is in addition to the developer’s regular annual dividend and remains subject to the required shareholder process.

The decision follows a record period for Emaar. The company reported AED 80.4 billion in property sales for 2025, up 16% from the previous year, while revenue rose 40% to AED 49.6 billion and EBITDA increased 33% to AED 25.6 billion.

Emaar said the special distribution forms part of its capital-allocation strategy and is intended to return additional value to shareholders while the company maintains a substantial development backlog.
