# Dubai Holding Entertainment Plans New Waterpark at Dubai Parks and Resorts

Dubai Holding Entertainment plans to open a new waterpark at Dubai Parks and Resorts within the next few months. Chief executive Fernando Eiroa announced the attraction at the RISE Summit in Dubai on 14 October 2026.

The waterpark will join the wider Dubai Parks and Resorts portfolio. Eiroa said it is designed specifically for summer use, but the company has not yet disclosed its name, exact opening date, size or ticketing details.

The announcement follows the recent reopening of the destination’s parks after a six-month period used for maintenance, refurbishment and new restaurants and attractions. The waterpark plan does not confirm vacancies. [Source: Khaleej Times](https://www.khaleejtimes.com/uae/new-dubai-waterpark-to-open-very-soon).
