# Aster Agrees to Invest in Dubai’s International Modern Hospital

Aster DM Healthcare has agreed to invest in International Modern Hospital in Dubai, subject to regulatory approvals. The transaction is part of Aster’s plan to invest more than AED 1 billion in expanding healthcare services across the UAE over five years.

International Modern Hospital is a 116-bed multi-specialty facility in Al Mankhool with 39 outpatient clinics. Bringing it into Aster’s network would raise the group’s UAE hospital count to 11 and add to its current hospital capacity of 399 beds.

Aster expects the integration to give patients wider access to specialists, referral pathways and digital health services. The hospital has operated in Dubai since 2005, and the parties said its existing clinical capabilities and service legacy will be maintained as the network expands.
