About the Role
As Machine Learning Specialist at Almosafer, you’ll design and implement ML models that power recommendation systems, pricing engines, personalisation, and demand forecasting. You’ll work with rich travel datasets and collaborate with product and data engineering teams to ship ML-driven features from prototype to production. Almosafer has a bold technology roadmap and this role is central to delivering on it — with strong investment in data science infrastructure and a culture that values innovation.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on machine learning experience with Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with NLP, recommendation systems, or time-series forecasting is a strong plus
- Strong skills in SQL and working with large-scale datasets (Spark, BigQuery, etc.)
- Ability to translate business problems into ML solutions and communicate results clearly
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
