Role Overview: The Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, and deploy production ML systems and AI models that power ai71’s core products and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning pipelines from research to production
- Develop and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and foundation models
- Build scalable ML infrastructure using modern MLOps practices
- Collaborate with research scientists to translate papers into deployed systems
- Optimize model performance, latency, and throughput for production
- Implement evaluation frameworks and monitoring for ML models
- Contribute to AI71’s Arabic language AI initiatives
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow)
- Experience with LLM fine-tuning, RLHF, and model alignment techniques
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures and modern deep learning
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra, statistics, and optimization
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Weights & Biases)
