# Vice President – Broker Relationship Retail – Al-Futtaim Group

Al-Futtaim’s insurance operation in Dubai — part of the wider Al-Futtaim Group, which has been active in the UAE insurance market since 1982 — is hiring a Vice President to own broker relationships on the retail side of the business. This is a senior relationship and revenue role: brokers are the primary distribution channel for a large share of retail insurance business in the UAE, so how well this person manages that network has a direct bearing on the book of business the company writes.

The role centers on building and maintaining strong relationships with broker partners, understanding what each broker needs to place business effectively, and representing the company’s retail products and underwriting appetite in a way that keeps the company top-of-mind when brokers are placing risk. It also means staying close to market dynamics — pricing pressure, competitor activity, broker expectations — and feeding that back into how the retail book is positioned.

## Requirements

- Significant experience in UAE or GCC insurance distribution, with strong broker-channel relationships

- Track record of growing or defending a retail insurance book through broker partnerships

- Deep understanding of UAE insurance market dynamics, pricing, and competitive landscape

- Strong relationship-management and negotiation skills at a senior level

- Ability to represent underwriting appetite and product positioning credibly to broker leadership

- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; insurance industry qualifications an advantage

- Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE
