# Sr Enterprise Architect – Majid Al Futtaim

MAF Global Solutions is Majid Al Futtaim’s technology arm, supporting the group’s diverse portfolio of malls, retail, leisure, and hospitality businesses across the region. A Senior Enterprise Architect in this function sits at the intersection of technology strategy and business architecture, helping define how the group’s systems and platforms should be structured to support its evolving business needs.

The role involves developing and maintaining enterprise architecture frameworks, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure new systems and initiatives align with the broader technology strategy, evaluating platform and architecture decisions against both current needs and long-term scalability, and providing architectural guidance across a genuinely diverse set of business units. It’s a senior technical role that requires as much stakeholder influence and communication skill as deep architectural expertise.

It suits an experienced enterprise or solutions architect with a strong technology strategy background, ideally with exposure to retail, leisure, or multi-business-unit environments, who’s comfortable operating at both a strategic and a hands-on technical level. The ability to translate architectural decisions into business terms for non-technical stakeholders is central to doing this well.

Given Majid Al Futtaim’s scale and the breadth of businesses under MAF Global Solutions’ remit, this is a role with genuine strategic influence over how technology supports the group’s operations.

## Requirements

- Significant experience in enterprise or solutions architecture, with a track record of technology strategy work

- Strong understanding of business/enterprise architecture frameworks and how to apply them in a multi-business-unit environment

- Experience evaluating and guiding platform and technology decisions for scalability and long-term fit

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical architecture into business language

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field

- Experience in retail, leisure, hospitality, or another multi-brand business environment is a strong advantage

- Relevant architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF) are a plus
