# Specialist, Logistics (Shipping) – ADNOC

ADNOC Logistics & Services is looking for a Specialist, Logistics (Shipping) to join its shipping and maritime operations team in Abu Dhabi. This is a specialist-track role inside one of the region’s largest integrated logistics operations, supporting the movement of cargo and materials that keep ADNOC Group’s upstream and downstream sites running without interruption.

The day-to-day work centers on coordinating shipping schedules, vessel nominations, and cargo documentation across multiple ports and terminals, working closely with chartering, operations, and HSE teams to make sure every shipment clears the right checks before it moves. The role also involves tracking vendor and carrier performance against service agreements and flagging delays or cost overruns early enough that they can actually be fixed.

Because ADNOC’s logistics arm serves the entire group, this Specialist will regularly liaise with internal business units as well as external shipping agents, port authorities, and freight forwarders, so the ability to hold a firm line on compliance while still keeping relationships workable is central to doing the job well.

This is a good fit for someone who already has hands-on shipping or maritime logistics experience in the UAE or wider Gulf market and wants to work at the scale and complexity that only a national energy champion’s logistics arm can offer.

## Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, maritime studies, supply chain, business administration, or a related field

- Prior experience in shipping operations, freight forwarding, or maritime logistics, ideally within the oil and gas or energy sector

- Working knowledge of shipping documentation, charter party terms, and port/terminal operating procedures

- Comfort coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders under time pressure

- Strong attention to detail when reviewing cargo, customs, and compliance documentation

- Proficiency with logistics or ERP systems used to track shipments and vendor performance
