# Sort Center Supervisor (UAE National), Sort Center – Amazon

Sort centers are the sorting layer between Amazon’s bigger fulfillment centers and the last-mile delivery network, and this role is a supervisory seat inside one of those Dubai facilities – open specifically for UAE National candidates as part of Amazon’s Emiratization hiring. The job is operational leadership on the sort floor: keeping packages moving accurately and on schedule through scanning, sorting, and staging before they go out on delivery routes.

The supervisor’s day centers on managing a team of associates across a shift, hitting throughput and accuracy targets, troubleshooting equipment or process bottlenecks in real time, and reporting performance up to the shift or operations manager. There’s a safety and compliance thread running through all of it too – sort centers move a high volume of product through a compact physical space, so keeping the floor safe while keeping it fast is part of the job, not separate from it.

This suits someone early-to-mid career who wants a structured path into operations management, is comfortable leading a team on a physical, fast-moving floor rather than from behind a screen, and is looking for a company where internal promotion into area manager roles is a well-worn path rather than a rare exception.
