# Shopping Experience Assistant – Cashier | IKEA – Al-Futtaim Group

Al-Futtaim Group is hiring a Shopping Experience Assistant – Cashier | IKEA for IKEA in Abu Dhabi. Al-Futtaim Group is a diversified Dubai-based conglomerate with interests spanning automotive distribution (including Toyota), retail (including the IKEA franchise) and financial services across the region. This role sits inside retail cashier and shopping-experience operations, a mix of customer-facing and operational responsibility that keeps a dealership, store or aftersales operation running smoothly day to day.

Depending on the exact role, expect responsibilities spanning customer service and advisory work, retail counter or cashier operations, buying and merchandising decisions, or systems and data support for an aftersales business — but in every version, the common thread is keeping a high-volume, customer-facing operation accurate and running without friction.

Al-Futtaim Group will want someone with relevant experience in retail cashier and shopping-experience operations, strong attention to detail, and the kind of calm, organised approach that keeps a busy retail or service floor functioning even during peak periods.

## Requirements

- Relevant prior experience in retail cashier and shopping-experience operations or a comparable retail/automotive environment

- Strong customer service orientation combined with operational accuracy

- Comfortable with POS, inventory or dealership systems as relevant to the role

- Ability to work retail hours including weekends and peak periods

- Good attention to detail on documentation, stock or service records

- Team-oriented, comfortable in a busy, fast-moving environment

## Suggested Resume Keywords
