# Registered Nurse- NICU – NMC Healthcare

NMC Healthcare is recruiting for the Registered Nurse- NICU position, based at its facility in Abu Dhabi. NMC Healthcare operates a network of private hospitals and clinics across the UAE, part of the wider NMC Health group, one of the region’s larger private healthcare providers. This is a hands-on clinical role sitting inside a busy hospital or clinic floor, where the day-to-day is shaped as much by patient flow and ward routines as by any single task list.

The job centres on direct patient care: assessing patients, carrying out clinical procedures within scope of practice, administering medication and treatment as prescribed, and keeping accurate, timely documentation that the wider care team can rely on. Coordination matters as much as clinical skill here — nurses in this kind of role work closely with physicians, allied health staff and families, and are often the first point of contact when a patient’s condition changes.

NMC Healthcare will be looking for a candidate who already holds (or can obtain) the relevant UAE healthcare licensure for this role, has solid hands-on ward or unit experience, and is comfortable working rotating shifts in a 24/7 care environment. Calm judgement under pressure, clear communication with patients and colleagues, and genuine attentiveness to detail tend to separate strong candidates from the rest.

## Requirements

- Valid nursing qualification and UAE healthcare licensure (or eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing) relevant to this role

- Demonstrated clinical experience in a hospital or equivalent acute-care setting

- Comfortable working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays

- Strong clinical documentation and handover practices

- Clear, calm communication with patients, families and the wider care team

- Current BLS/ACLS certification as applicable to the unit
