# Primary Teachers – GEMS Education

GEMS Winchester School Fujairah is hiring Primary Teachers to join its teaching team, delivering the curriculum to young learners and helping shape their earliest years of formal education. Primary teaching at this stage is as much about building curiosity and confidence as it is about covering a syllabus.

Day to day, the role involves planning and delivering lessons across core primary subjects, assessing pupil progress, and adapting teaching approaches to suit a classroom of different learning styles and paces. Primary teachers are typically the main point of contact for parents on a child’s academic and personal development, which means strong communication skills matter as much as subject knowledge.

As part of GEMS Education — one of the largest private K-12 school operators in the region — teachers joining this school get access to the group’s broader professional development infrastructure, including structured CPD programs. GEMS explicitly frames teaching within its network as a career path rather than just a job, which typically means access to training, mentorship, and mobility across its wider network of schools.

Suited to a qualified, enthusiastic primary teacher who enjoys working with young children and wants the stability and development support of a large, established school network.

## Requirements

- Recognized teaching qualification (such as a B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) for primary education

- Prior classroom teaching experience at primary level preferred

- Strong communication skills for working with young learners and their parents

- Ability to differentiate instruction for a range of learning styles and paces

- Genuine enthusiasm for working with primary-age children

- Willingness to engage with ongoing professional development and school life beyond the classroom
