# Operations Supervisor – Logistics – Amazon

This Operations Supervisor role sits inside Amazon Logistics (AMZL) and Fulfilment Center (FC) operations in Dubai — the physical backbone that gets packages from Amazon’s facilities into customers’ hands. It’s a hands-on, on-site leadership role that blends day-to-day team supervision with the harder discipline of tracking performance metrics and driving process improvement across shifts.

The job is best understood as running a tight loop: set the shift up to hit its targets, monitor performance against those targets in real time, catch problems before they cascade, and feed what you learn back into process changes that make the next shift better than this one. Supervisors in this role typically own a team directly — coaching, scheduling, performance management — while also being accountable for the throughput and accuracy numbers that roll up to site leadership.

It’s a good fit for someone who already has frontline supervisory experience in warehousing, logistics, or fulfilment, and who’s energized by a fast pace rather than drained by it. Amazon’s FC and AMZL operations run around the clock, so comfort with shift work and a genuine interest in metrics-driven process improvement — not just people management — matter as much as the leadership skills themselves.

## Requirements

- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience in a warehouse, fulfilment center, or logistics operation

- Comfort working with performance metrics and using them to drive process improvement

- Experience coaching, scheduling, and managing frontline operational teams

- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, in a 24/7 operation

- Strong problem-solving skills under time pressure

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent operational experience

- Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE
