This role sits inside the finance function at Aster Hospitals’ head office in Dubai, where the day-to-day work is less about spreadsheets in the abstract and more about keeping a hospital network’s financial backbone sound. The Manager, Finance & Accounts owns the accuracy and timeliness of transaction recording across the group, working to IFRS standards and Aster’s internal policy set rather than a looser private-company norm. General ledger oversight is the core of the job: reconciliations, journal review, and making sure the numbers that feed into monthly and quarterly reporting actually hold up under audit scrutiny.

Aster DM Healthcare operates one of the larger hospital and clinic networks across the GCC, which means the finance team here is dealing with multi-entity consolidation, cross-border cost allocation, and a reporting calendar that doesn’t slow down for anyone. ## Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is a strong advantage

- 5+ years of progressive finance or general ledger accounting experience, ideally in healthcare or another multi-entity organization

- Solid working knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation principles

- Hands-on experience with an ERP or financial accounting system (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

- Strong reconciliation and month-end close discipline, with an eye for discrepancies before they become audit findings

- Clear communicator able to explain financial detail to non-finance stakeholders

- Comfortable working to UAE statutory and VAT reporting requirements
