# Logistics Supervisor – Amazon

This Logistics Supervisor role is a frontline operations leadership position inside an Amazon facility in Dubai, with primary responsibility for the daily management of operational duties on the floor. A core part of the job is stepping in to deputise for the Operations Manager when needed — meaning the supervisor is trusted to make real operational calls, not just execute a pre-set plan, whenever the senior manager isn’t directly available.

Day to day, that looks like overseeing shift operations, keeping teams on pace against productivity and safety targets, troubleshooting issues as they come up on the floor in real time, and representing the Operations Manager’s priorities to the wider team when standing in. It’s a hands-on, floor-based role rather than a desk job — the supervisor needs to be visible, available, and able to make quick decisions under time pressure.

This suits someone who already has supervisory or team-lead experience in a warehouse, fulfilment, or logistics environment and is ready to take on broader operational ownership, including acting-up responsibility when the manager above them is unavailable.

## Requirements

- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience in a warehouse, fulfilment centre, or logistics environment

- Comfortable making operational decisions independently, including deputising for a manager when required

- Strong understanding of safety and productivity standards in a high-volume operational setting

- Ability to troubleshoot issues on the floor in real time, under time pressure

- Solid people-leadership skills, including managing and motivating shift teams

- Flexibility to work shift patterns typical of a 24/7 fulfilment operation
