# Logistics Supervisor, Amazon Logistics – Amazon

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is the last-mile delivery arm that gets packages from fulfilment and sort centers into customers’ hands, and this Logistics Supervisor role sits right at the point where operational plans meet the people and vehicles executing them each shift. The job is about leading and developing frontline teams inside a fast-paced AMZL or fulfilment-centre environment, keeping delivery routes, headcount and equipment aligned to a daily volume that can swing sharply by day and season.

Expect a shift-based role built around real-time problem solving: adjusting staffing and routes when volume spikes or a vehicle goes down, running pre-shift briefings, tracking performance metrics like on-time delivery and safety incidents, and escalating issues that need support from site management. Supervisors also carry responsibility for coaching associates, running safety checks and keeping the operation compliant with Amazon’s process standards.

It’s a strong fit for someone who already has some frontline supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing or transportation and wants exposure to how a high-volume delivery network actually runs day to day — fast-paced, metrics-driven, and heavy on people leadership rather than desk work.

## Requirements

- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience in logistics, delivery, warehousing or a similarly fast-paced operation

- Comfort working variable shifts, including early mornings, evenings or weekends as volume requires

- Working knowledge of safety standards and willingness to enforce them consistently

- Basic proficiency with workforce scheduling or operations-tracking systems

- Clear, calm communication under time pressure, including with associates and dispatch

- Physical readiness for an active, floor-based role in a delivery station environment
