# Investigation Specialist, Trust & Safety – Amazon

This role sits inside Amazon’s Network Health and Trust & Safety organisation, the team responsible for keeping the Last Mile delivery network in the UAE operating safely, fairly, and within Amazon’s own supply chain standards. Rather than moving packages, the job is to protect the integrity of the network itself: looking into incidents involving delivery partners, drivers, or vendor conduct, and making sure the right corrective action follows.

Day to day, the work is investigative. Flagged cases arrive from multiple sources — delivery data, customer or associate complaints, safety reports, audit flags — and the specialist has to reconstruct what happened, pull supporting evidence, interview the people involved, and write up findings that are clear enough for operations and legal teams to act on. A good part of the job is pattern-spotting: a single incident at one station might be a one-off, but the same pattern across several stations points to a process gap worth escalating.

It suits someone who is methodical under ambiguity — cases rarely arrive with a clean paper trail — and who can have a direct, sometimes difficult conversation while staying fair and well documented. Backgrounds in compliance, audit, investigations, operations, or even structured customer trust roles translate well, as does prior exposure to labour or safety regulation in a logistics setting.

The role is based in Dubai, inside Amazon’s UAE Last Mile network, which has grown quickly as the country’s e-commerce and quick-commerce volumes have scaled. It gives the specialist regular visibility into how operations, legal, and vendor management teams work together on the ground.

## Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience in investigations, compliance, audit, or operations

- Prior experience handling sensitive investigations, case management, or incident reviews

- Strong written communication — able to turn messy facts into a clear, defensible written finding

- Comfortable working with data in Excel, and ideally some exposure to SQL or reporting tools

- Confident conducting structured interviews and documenting them accurately

- Sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information

- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, legal, and vendor management stakeholders

- Familiarity with UAE labour regulations or supply chain compliance standards is an advantage
