# Inventory Manager – Grocery Supply Chain – Amazon

Amazon Now — the company’s rapid grocery and everyday-essentials delivery operation in MENA — is hiring an Inventory Manager based in Dubai to support the supply chain that keeps its dark stores stocked. This is an operations role focused on the mechanics that make ultra-fast delivery possible: making sure the right products are in the right locations at the right quantities, without the excess stock that ties up cash or the shortages that lose a sale in a category where customers expect near-instant fulfillment.

The core of the job is inventory accuracy and process discipline — managing stock levels across a network of dark stores, working with Amazon’s operations partners to resolve discrepancies, and identifying where replenishment processes are breaking down before they turn into out-of-stocks customers actually notice. A meaningful part of the role is process improvement: developing and rolling out standard operating procedures that reduce waste and variability across locations, which matters more in grocery than most other retail categories because of shelf life and spoilage.

It’s a good fit for someone who enjoys being close to the operational reality of a business — this isn’t a role spent purely in spreadsheets, it involves working directly with the teams running dark stores day to day, understanding where their process breaks down, and building the fixes. Amazon’s scale means the same inventory problem, solved well, gets replicated across dozens of locations rather than one.

## Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field

- Experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or retail operations, ideally in grocery, FMCG, or fast-moving retail

- Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with inventory data to spot discrepancies and trends

- Experience developing or improving standard operating procedures in an operational environment

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software

- Ability to work cross-functionally with store-level operations teams and central supply chain functions

- Comfort in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy directly affects customer experience
