# ICQA Supervisor – Amazon

Amazon’s delivery stations are the last link between a warehouse full of boxes and a customer’s front door, and the ICQA Supervisor role exists to make sure what’s on the shelf matches what the system thinks is on the shelf. The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance team sits inside station operations, running the audits and checks that catch errors before they become late or wrong deliveries. In Dubai, where volumes swing hard around sale events and the weekly peak, that accuracy work never really stops.

Day to day, the supervisor runs a small team of associates through cycle counts, damage and mis-pick audits, and spot checks on inbound and outbound inventory, then turns the findings into corrective action on the floor – retraining a process step, flagging a recurring defect, or escalating a systemic issue to the operations manager. There’s a real people-leadership component too: shift scheduling, coaching associates on audit technique, and holding the team accountable to defect-rate and accuracy targets that roll up into station-wide performance metrics.

It suits someone who’s comfortable on the warehouse floor rather than behind a desk all day, reads data quickly enough to spot a pattern in a stack of audit results, and doesn’t mind the pace of a high-volume fulfillment environment. Prior experience supervising a frontline team in a warehouse, retail distribution, or manufacturing QA setting translates well here, and familiarity with warehouse management systems is a practical advantage from day one.

## Requirements

- Experience supervising a frontline team in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing QA environment

- Working knowledge of inventory control concepts – cycle counting, audit methodology, root-cause analysis

- Comfort with warehouse management systems and basic reporting in Excel or similar tools

- Ability to work rotating shifts, including peak-season surge schedules

- Clear, direct communication style for coaching associates and escalating issues to operations leadership

- Physical readiness for an active, floor-based role in a fast-paced facility
