# Head of Art – Yasmina British Academy (Term 2 Start) – Aldar Properties

Aldar Properties is hiring a Head of Art – Yasmina British Academy (Term 2 Start), based in Abu Dhabi. Aldar Properties is Abu Dhabi’s leading real estate developer, and through Aldar Education also operates a network of private schools across the UAE. This is a classroom teaching role within the group’s schools network, responsible for planning and delivering Art lessons to a defined year group or curriculum stage, consistent with the school’s curriculum framework.

Expect the role to cover lesson planning and delivery, assessment and tracking of student progress, classroom and behaviour management, and regular communication with parents and the wider school community. Beyond the classroom, teaching in these schools typically also involves contributing to co-curricular activities and working as part of a subject or year-group team rather than operating entirely independently.

Aldar Properties will want someone with a relevant teaching qualification and classroom experience in Art, strong lesson planning and assessment skills, and the classroom presence to manage a diverse, multicultural student group effectively.

## Requirements

- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed or equivalent) with subject specialism in Art

- Demonstrated classroom experience teaching Art at the relevant curriculum stage
