# General Technician – Landmark Group

This General Technician role is with Citymax Hotels, a ‘homegrown’ regional hotel brand envisioned and developed by Landmark Group, one of the GCC’s largest omnichannel retailers and hospitality groups spanning the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and Africa. The role sits within hotel engineering/maintenance operations — responsible for keeping a hotel’s physical infrastructure and equipment running safely and reliably for both guests and staff.

Day to day, the role covers general maintenance and repair work across a range of hotel systems — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building upkeep — responding to maintenance requests from guest rooms and public areas, and carrying out preventive maintenance checks to catch issues before they affect guests. In a hotel environment, response time and discretion matter: maintenance issues often need fixing quickly and with minimal disruption to guests staying on-site.

## Requirements

- Comfort working in an occupied guest environment with appropriate discretion and professionalism

- Experience with preventive maintenance routines and basic equipment upkeep
