# General Repair Technician – Toyota and Lexus – Al-Futtaim Group

This General Repair Technician role sits within Al-Futtaim Automotive, part of Al-Futtaim Group’s regional operations headquartered in Dubai, and covers hands-on repair work across Toyota and Lexus vehicles at one of the network’s dealership service centres. Al-Futtaim Automotive is a large, established dealership operator across the UAE, and this is a technical, full-time position within its core service business.

Day to day, the technician carries out general vehicle repairs and maintenance following manufacturer standards for Toyota and Lexus — diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring work meets brand quality expectations before a vehicle is returned to the customer. Working within a structured dealership service environment means following documented processes, using manufacturer-specified parts and procedures, and coordinating with service advisors and the wider workshop team to keep vehicles moving through the service bay efficiently.

It suits an experienced automotive technician who takes pride in doing the work right the first time, is comfortable working to manufacturer standards rather than independent-garage shortcuts, and wants the stability and structure of working within a large, brand-authorised dealership network rather than an independent workshop.

## Requirements

- Recognised automotive technician qualification or equivalent hands-on trade experience

- Comfortable using diagnostic equipment and following documented workshop processes
