# Financial Analyst – Majid Al Futtaim

MAF LifeStyle, the part of Majid Al Futtaim’s portfolio covering lifestyle and leisure businesses, is hiring a Financial Analyst in Dubai to support its business development function. The role is research-and-analysis heavy: supporting evaluation of new business opportunities through market research, competitor mapping, and feasibility analysis rather than running day-to-day transactional finance.

Practically, this means building financial models to assess the viability of potential new ventures or expansions, researching and mapping the competitive landscape relevant to a given opportunity, pulling together feasibility studies that combine financial and market analysis, and presenting findings in a way that helps business development leadership decide whether and how to pursue a given opportunity. The work sits closer to strategy and corporate development than to standard accounting or reporting.

Because MAF LifeStyle spans a mix of entertainment, leisure, and lifestyle businesses, the Financial Analyst needs to be comfortable moving between different business models and revenue structures rather than specializing narrowly in one.

It suits someone analytically strong who enjoys the research and evaluation side of finance, building a case for or against a new opportunity, over routine bookkeeping or reporting work.

## Requirements

- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field

- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience supporting feasibility or business case analysis

- Research skills for competitive mapping and market analysis relevant to business development decisions

- Comfort working across varied business models, given MAF LifeStyle’s mix of entertainment and leisure businesses

- Strong presentation skills for communicating financial and market findings to business development leadership

- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and financial modelling tools
