# Facilities Coordinator , Reliability Maintenance Engineering RME – Amazon

This Facilities Coordinator role sits within Amazon’s Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) function in Dubai, the team that keeps the physical infrastructure of Amazon’s fulfilment and logistics sites running safely and without unplanned downtime. RME is the group responsible for the equipment, buildings, and safety systems that everything else in the operation depends on, so this is a facilities role with real operational weight behind it.

Day to day, the coordinator plans facilities activity, coordinates staff training so service levels are consistently met, and makes sure the working environment stays safe and compliant with Amazon’s own safety policy as well as UAE regulations. That covers scheduling maintenance and vendor work, keeping documentation and training records current, supporting audits, and acting as a point of contact between site operations teams and the maintenance function when something needs attention. It’s a coordination-heavy role: less hands-on repair work, more making sure the right people, parts, and processes are in place so the site keeps running.
