# Executive – Landmark Group

Landmark Group’s buying function decides which products actually make it onto shelves across its retail brands, and this Executive role provides the analytical and coordination support that keeps that process running smoothly. Working closely with Buyers and Assistant Buyers, this is a role focused on the operational backbone of merchandising — the planning, coordination, and follow-through that turns a buying decision into product actually landing in stores on time.

Expect daily work centred on preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers, liaising with internal teams (merchandise planners, stores) and external suppliers to track order status, and helping resolve the inevitable hiccups — a delayed shipment, a stock allocation question, a supplier query — that come up in any buying cycle. It’s detail-heavy work where accuracy and follow-through directly determine whether stores actually get what they’re supposed to, when they’re supposed to.

This suits someone organized and numerate who enjoys the coordination side of retail — comfortable juggling supplier communications, internal reporting, and planning spreadsheets, and genuinely interested in how merchandising decisions get turned into real inventory on real shelves.

## Requirements

- Prior experience in a buying, merchandising, or retail planning support role is an advantage

- Strong Excel skills and comfort building or maintaining sales and stock plans

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Good communication skills for liaising with buyers, planners, stores, and suppliers

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field

- Comfort working to deadlines within a buying cycle

- Basic understanding of retail merchandising principles
