# Coordinator – Shipping – Chalhoub Group

Chalhoub Group, a partner and creator of luxury across fashion, beauty, jewellery, watches, eyewear, and art de vivre for over seven decades, is hiring a Shipping Coordinator in Dubai – a logistics-adjacent role that keeps the physical movement of luxury goods running smoothly across the group’s supply chain, from international brand partners through to retail points across the region.

The day-to-day work covers coordinating shipments with freight forwarders and carriers, tracking consignment status and customs documentation, resolving delays or issues as they come up, and keeping internal stakeholders – retail, warehousing, brand teams – informed on shipment timelines. Given that Chalhoub deals in luxury goods, there’s typically an added layer of care around handling and documentation accuracy that a standard retail shipping role might not carry to the same degree.

It suits someone organized and detail-oriented with experience in logistics or shipping coordination, who’s comfortable managing multiple shipments and stakeholders simultaneously and understands why accuracy and care matter more when the cargo is high-value.

## Requirements

- Previous experience in shipping, logistics coordination, or freight operations

- Familiarity with customs documentation and import/export processes

- Strong organizational skills for tracking multiple shipments and timelines simultaneously

- Good communication skills for coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders

- Comfort working with logistics or supply chain management systems

- Attention to detail, particularly important given the high value of goods handled
