# Continuous Improvement Specialist , ACES – Amazon

This Continuous Improvement Specialist role sits within Amazon’s ACES function (Amazon Customer Excellence System), the internal team responsible for finding and fixing the inefficiencies that quietly cost an operation time, money, or quality across its last-mile and fulfillment network in the AMET region (Africa, Middle East, and Turkey). Based in Dubai, the role is less about running a shift and more about studying how shifts are run and making them measurably better.

Day to day, this looks like gathering operational data from delivery stations and fulfillment sites, identifying the root causes behind recurring problems (a missed-delivery pattern, a process bottleneck, an attendance or policy-compliance gap), and designing fixes that site teams can actually implement. It also involves making sure Amazon’s own operating policies, things like attendance tracking, are applied fairly and consistently across sites, which requires both analytical rigor and the people skills to get frontline managers on board with a change.
