Job Description

ADNOC is looking for an Assistant, Supply to support the day-to-day accuracy of product stock records across its supply operations. This is a detail-focused operational role responsible for maintaining daily stock registers, tracking transfers and deliveries, and making sure every product movement is properly recorded and reconciled.

The work involves reconciling PDN and PTN (product delivery/transfer note) records against meter readings, confirming transactions through ADNOC’s systems, and ensuring product notes are issued accurately and on time. Because product volumes and movements feed directly into financial and operational reporting elsewhere in the business, precision and consistency in this role matter more than they might appear to from the job title alone.

This role requires close coordination with operations and logistics teams to confirm that recorded stock movements match what’s physically happening on the ground, catching discrepancies before they turn into bigger reconciliation headaches downstream.

This is a solid fit for someone with supply chain, inventory, or stock administration experience who takes genuine pride in getting the numbers right every single day, not just most days.

Impact of the Job

Daily stock registers might look like routine paperwork, but in a supply operation handling meaningful product volumes, every unreconciled discrepancy is either lost product, a reporting error, or both, so an Assistant, Supply who keeps those registers accurate day after day is directly protecting the business from costly inventory gaps. Reconciling PDN and PTN records against meter readings is the kind of check that catches small errors — a misrecorded transfer, a meter reading typo — before they compound into a reconciliation problem that takes someone much more senior hours to untangle later. Because stock and transfer records feed into broader financial and operational reporting, accuracy at this level has consequences well beyond the warehouse or terminal where the product physically moves; finance teams, planning teams, and operations leadership are all implicitly relying on this data being right. This is also a role where consistency matters as much as individual accuracy — a register that's right most days but wrong occasionally is actually harder to trust than one with a known, documented error rate, so the discipline of doing this correctly every single day is the real value being delivered. In a company the size of ADNOC, that discipline at the individual record level is part of what lets much larger supply and financial systems function reliably.

Job Seeker Benefit

Starting or continuing a supply chain career as an Assistant, Supply at ADNOC provides hands-on exposure to real product stock reconciliation processes inside one of the world's largest integrated energy companies, which is valuable grounding for anyone aiming at a longer-term supply chain, logistics, or inventory management career. The specific PDN/PTN reconciliation and meter-reading verification experience gained here is directly transferable to supply and inventory roles across the energy, logistics, and distribution sectors, making this a role that builds genuinely marketable technical skills rather than generic administrative experience. ADNOC's scale also means there are clear internal progression paths from a Supply Assistant role into more senior supply chain, inventory control, or operations coordination positions as track record builds, so this role functions well as a deliberate stepping stone rather than a career plateau. Working inside a major national energy company's supply function additionally provides exposure to enterprise-grade systems and processes that many smaller companies don't use, which is itself a resume differentiator later on. On top of the career development angle, ADNOC Group companies typically offer UAE energy-sector-competitive compensation and the stability of a long-established, strategically significant employer, which matters for anyone building a career in supply chain over the long run.
