# Assistant Manager – Group Consolidation – Central Account (UAE National Only) – Mashreq

Mashreq is hiring for the Assistant Manager – Group Consolidation – Central Account (UAE National Only) role in the UAE. Mashreq is one of the UAE’s oldest independent banks, headquartered in Dubai, with retail, corporate, business banking and treasury operations across the region. This sits inside group financial consolidation, a specialist seat that supports the bank’s broader commercial activity rather than facing customers directly day to day.

The work is technical and detail-heavy: pricing, risk analysis, reconciliation, or reporting depending on the exact mandate, with real accountability for accuracy since errors at this level of a bank tend to compound quickly. Expect close coordination with trading desks, risk, finance and compliance teams, and a need to translate technical output into something senior stakeholders can act on without a finance degree of their own.

Mashreq will be looking for someone with solid technical grounding (often a quantitative, finance or accounting background), strong Excel/analytical tooling skills, and the discipline to work accurately under deadline pressure, since much of this kind of work runs on daily, monthly or quarterly cycles that don’t move for anyone.

## Requirements

- Relevant degree in finance, accounting, economics or a quantitative field

- Demonstrable experience in a comparable banking or financial-services function

- Strong Excel and financial modelling / reporting skills

- High accuracy under recurring deadline pressure

- Clear communication of technical output to non-technical stakeholders

- Relevant professional qualification (CFA/ACCA/CA or equivalent) is an advantage
