# Area Manager – Al-Futtaim Group

This Area Manager role covers a defined group of retail stores under Al-Futtaim’s automotive and retail operations in Dubai, with the person in it responsible for making sure Store Managers and their teams consistently hit commercial and operational targets across the whole area. It’s a multi-site leadership role rather than a single-store job, which means the day-to-day is less about running the floor personally and more about coaching, standardising, and holding a group of stores accountable to the same bar.

## Requirements

- Proven experience as a Store Manager or equivalent single-site retail leadership role, ideally within a comparable retail or automotive environment

- Strong commercial acumen: ability to read sales, margin, and operational data across multiple locations and identify where to focus

- Track record of improving underperforming store performance through structured coaching and clear accountability

- Excellent communication and people management skills, since the role depends on influence through others

- Willingness and ability to travel regularly between stores within the assigned area

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent retail management experience will also be considered
