About the Role
Quotacom is seeking a Group Director of Data Science on behalf of a leading organisation in Dubai. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced data science professional who can lead large teams, define AI/ML strategy, and deliver measurable business impact through advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a high-performing data science team across multiple business units
- Define and execute the organisation’s AI/ML and advanced analytics strategy
- Partner with C-level stakeholders to align data science with business objectives
- Oversee development and deployment of machine learning models at scale
- Drive data governance, ethics, and responsible AI practices
- Recruit, mentor and develop top data science talent
Requirements
- 10+ years in data science or analytics, with 4+ years in a leadership role
- Deep expertise in ML, statistical modelling, and big data technologies
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at executive level
- Experience in large enterprise or consulting environments preferred
- PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field preferred
