Role Description
Speridian is looking for an experienced Golang Technical Lead to head backend development for a large-scale enterprise project in Dubai. You will lead a team of Go developers, drive architecture decisions, and be responsible for delivering high-quality, performant backend services for a mission-critical client system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Golang backend development team and own technical delivery
- Design and implement microservices and RESTful/gRPC APIs in Go
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards
- Collaborate with solution architects and project managers on delivery planning
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers on Go best practices
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend systems
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend development experience with 3+ years in Go (Golang)
- Strong knowledge of microservices, gRPC, REST APIs, and message queues
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Prior technical lead or team lead experience
- Experience in government, banking, or enterprise projects preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with client stakeholders
